Resilience Series

Turning the lens on myself, this series is designed to allow transparency into the emotional and surreal experience of facing a life-threatening crisis. As subject, my own body becomes the holder of vulnerability and courage; uncertainty and identity; and ultimately transformation.

These portraits and installations are executed with an urgency that stems from the rawness of the content and the unstoppable reality of time. Resilience is in response to my 2021 diagnosis and treatment of advanced-stage ovarian cancer.
